Why Give?

It is impossible to out give God.  There is no way that any one person could do that, it is a feeble goal, we could not do it.  But we are encouraged to do our part and so giving of the first fruits is something that we take very seriously.  We believe that all that we have is God's anyway, He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, the whole earth is His and all that is in it!  So we give to the Lord our tithes and offerings, as an act of worship and commitment.

Matthew 6:24 says: "No one can serve two master; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other.  You cannot serve God and mammon."

Giving to the local church is about the heart of a person.   As you look at your heart where do you find it?  Hopefully it is in love with God.
